Default Future HOF: Eric Bischoff?

Does anyone think that perhaps Eric Bischoff deserves a place in the Hall of Fame? If you vote, explain why you think he deserves it or why not.

Yeah, but you gotta remember when Eric Bischoff came to wwe, he was hired as an on-air talent only....Eric didnt create the Elimination Chamber, the WWE did....but on TV, they scripted the idea to be Bischoffs creation

Ive forgiven Bischoff now for all the horrible things he did during the monday night war, so I vote yes for a future HOF induction

Also, I found an awesome 2 hr long roundtable discussion on the Monday Night Wars from wwe 24/7 ....the panel consists of Michael Hayes, Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler, Mick Foley and Eric Bischoff....very interesting stuff, here is the link to the first part...the other 8 parts will be on this page as well...enjoy!

They say that WCW was around and did just fine for a hundred years before Eric bischoff set foot in it. That's not exactly true. NWA legends were cretaed and thrived during the eighties, it's true, but WCW was a rudderless ship for the 90s, doing absolutely nothing, until Eric Bischoff became Executive Director. He brought in big names starts and created interest in WCW that had never existed before. His plans revolutionized the the way wrestling is presented: live and with huge spectacle. WWE strove to match what WCW was doing, and it just so happened that Vince McMahon was able to take the lead thansk to USA's tolerance of the "Attitude Era", while TBS and TNT executives forced Bischoff to water down his efforts and tied up his hands to the point where nothing got accomplished. But, for his contributions, i wholly believe that Bishoff should be recognized as one of the men who put sports-entertainment back in the public eye and made it cool to be a fan again.
